Dave Goes to the Fair
An unplanned Monday afternoon, a granddaughter, the Giant Slide, and a Pronto Pup with more ketchup than pronto.
This one was not on the calendar. Isla needed a babysitter on a Monday afternoon, and the babysitter turned out to be me.

I slipped out of the office early, which is easier than it used to be. The team here is good enough that I can leave and nothing falls apart. That is a nice thing to learn at this point in a career.
We saw the horses, went down the Giant Slide, and shared a Pronto Pup with more ketchup than pronto. Austin covers the economics of the fair in his own piece. Isla’s review is simpler: horses first, slide second, and next time we get two.
